Giving them peace before their last breath

My work brings me fulfillment because I can give your family a sacred last memory in the place where your pet truly lived and was loved. Once I have thoroughly explained the entire process, answered any questions, and given you some alone time with your pet, I will start by giving your pet medication that will bring them comfort. They will feel blissfully calm as they peacefully melt into comfort and unconsciousness. The last memory they will have will be of drifting off in your arms or by your side, free of pain and anxiety.

For me, Cloud 9 isn’t high enough for this moment…I take all pets to Cloud 11. Once we have ensured that they are above and beyond comfortable and have had their last memory, I will give them the final medication that will bring about their last breath. Together, we can embrace the power of goodbye and honor a life well lived and loved.

When your pet has already passed at home, I can help your family with the final arrangements if cremation through Animal Memorial Service is desired.

Angel Care includes:

Doctor confirmation of passing, and answering any questions that you may have
Keepsake gifts of a clay pawprint and clipping of fur, if desired
Respectful transport for cremation

Cremation for pets under 100 lbs

Fond Farewell offers cremation services through Animal Memorial Service in Gilroy for pets under 100 lbs.
Cremation prices are in addition to one of the services listed above.

Individual Cremation: Your pet will be respectfully and gently cremated and the remains of only your pet will be returned to you within a few weeks.

Small pet individual cremation (less than 35 lbs): $300
Medium pet individual cremation (36-65 lbs): $350
Large pet individual cremation (66-99 lbs): $385
Urn shipping fee (if elected): $30

Communal Cremation: Your pet will be respectfully and gently cremated in a group setting and the remains of your pet will be laid to rest in the Pacific Ocean via Oceans of Love. Fond Farewell families are offered an e-mailed certificate of scattering once their pet’s ashes are laid to rest. If you choose communal cremation, you will not receive any ashes.
